St Joseph’s Presbytery/Church Parking Please read this and note…
The former exit from the car park is now a site entrance and exit for the vehicles involved on the two site developments. Entrance and exit to the Church Car Park is through the same way (the “former entrance only”). Already accidents have nearly happened, so please be extra cautious! To help …
In the week only vehicles on presbytery or church business should park in the car park. Please no other vehicles! DO NOT BLOCK THE ACCESS AND EXIT OR PARK IN THE NO PARKING AREAS.
For Sunday morning Masses could all parishioners park in the Water Board Car Park, just off the roundabout at the end of Ladbroke Road. Only people with limited mobility or disability should park in the remaining spaces between the Church and the House. Priests still need access during the 8:30am and the 10:30am for emergency calls and to get to the other Churches. Therefore DO NOT BLOCK THE ACCESS AND EXIT OR PARK IN THE NO PARKING AREAS.
At Sunday 5:30pm, we do not have access to the Water board car-park and urge people to arrive early and find parking in the area around the Church giving priority to those with limited mobility, disability or with young children. DO NOT BLOCK THE ACCESS AND EXIT OR PARK IN THE NO PARKING AREAS.
It is essential that the entrance and exit are not blocked and that emergency vehicles and the Priests own cars can enter and exit even during Mass. If too many cars try and enter it is going to cause a blockage and much frustration.

PARISH DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE UPDATE (w/e 19th Febrary 2012)
Reigate
Following our recent meeting and having taken note of the advice given by our professional advisers, we are going to lodge an appeal against the decision by Reigate & Banstead Planning Committee to decline our application for a flatted development on the site of the existing Hall. This process is likely to take approximately six months.
As a result we have agreed that no development will take place at Holy Family until the houses and new centre at St Joseph’s are completed, which are scheduled for the year end.

PARISH DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE UPDATE (w/e 5th February 2012)
Redhill:
Demolition of the existing Hall has now started and will be completed in about three/four weeks.

The building of the eight terraced houses are scheduled to be completed by the end of September. Construction of the New Centre is planned to commence on Monday 27th February and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
As a result of these works, we will temporarily lose the use of approximately half of our car parking spaces. This will put severe pressure on those available. With kind permission of Sutton & East Surrey Water we have arranged parking on their premises, in Frenches Road, on Sunday only, from 8am until 12noon, until the works are completed.
Additionally, we will only be able to use the Southern access to the church, so it will be necessary to revert to two way traffic, in and out of the Southern access, until completion of the developments.
We are all very well aware of the inconvenience this will cause, but ask for your understanding, forbearance and patience, confident that you will be rewarded by the provision of a beautiful and functional new Parish Centre.
Please see details of parking arrangements at the Water Company on church notice boards
