Bon Voyage to Theo and Melda (St Teresa's)

A parish of this size often sees parishioners come and go. This week we wish Theo and Melda Joseph and family, our prayers and good wishes as they move to pastures new (nearer to London). We thank Theo for his great help and support in serving on the altar over many years and Melda for her prayerful presence and participation. As you will not be so far away, we hope to see you again from time to time. May God’s love; and the prayers of your many friends in the parish, go with you, and remain with you in your new home. God Bless.

Cabrini Children's Society

This weekend, the Annual Collection for Cabrini Children’s Society takes place. Cabrini provides support and care to some of the most vulnerable children, young people and families in our community. Please donate what you can to help give the next generation the chance they deserve and don’t forget to complete one of Cabrini’s gift aid envelopes if you are able.

Parish Food Collection

Perhaps the start of this project last November gave the impression that it was a Christmas-time initiative. Your SVP and Justice and Peace groups launched it to alleviate hardship in our local community in these times of great difficulty. Unemployment continues to rise and some families are facing serious problems. Our food collection is needed more than ever. In March the Salvation Army will report back to us about how they distribute the food and toiletries. So please continue to fill the yellow baskets which can be found, clearly signed, at the back of our churches after all Masses.
