Fr Chris writes:-
In today’s Gospel, is it little wonder that we meet
Jesus who in the midst of his teaching and healing finds it
necessary to escape to a lonely place? Spending time with the
Father was the most important thing in his life. From that
prayer and peace came the success of his ministry and made him
approachable and adaptable to many different situations. Let us
pray for all teachers, staff, chaplains and all those involved
in education, that they may both find times of stillness and
peace; and so take Christ into the business and reality of the
world in which we live.
